What We Do

Mediations

We provide specialized, results-oriented mediation services in the context of labour, commercial, and civil litigation proceedings, pre-litigation disputes, or to repair ongoing working relationships. We are recognized leaders in the field with an ability to resolve multi-dimensional conflicts where keen insight and a deft touch are required to overcome impediments to a lasting resolution.

Investigations

We conduct independent investigations into allegations of misconduct with rigour, speed, and sensitivity. We have a breadth of legal experience as well as an in-depth understanding of workplace dynamics and human behaviour allowing us to make accurate factual determinations and to come to the right conclusions that will withstand judicial scrutiny.

Arbitrations

We adjudicate disputes pursuant to collective agreement grievance proceedings; arbitration clauses in employment contracts and other commercial agreements; the Canada Labour Code and other legislative arbitration provisions; or, by the voluntary agreement of parties looking for a quick, fair, and cost-effective method of resolving disputes.

Workplace Restorations

We provide a range of workplace restoration services to improve working environments that are grappling with problematic employee behaviours or are plagued by systemic dysfunction. Our multi-disciplinary approach can include team and individual coaching, team building, training, mediation, investigation, and dispute resolution systems design to build and maintain a healthy and productive workplace.
